Our Story

## Started on the tools, still on the tools

Pete started as a bricklayer, and that shapes how every job is run. Walls go up plumb and level, joints are struck properly, and the work nobody will see once the plaster is on gets the same care as the face brick.

Over the years the work grew from brickwork into whole builds: foundations and drainage, extensions and loft conversions, new houses from the ground up, and the joinery and finishing inside them. The last 15 years have added high-end and natural stone work.

Buildings For Life is family-run. When you call, you speak to the family running the job, and the people quoting it are the people building it.

- ### Family-run

A family company: the people pricing the job are the people building it.
- ### A trade background

The business grew out of the brickwork, and it still shows in the detail.

We build things to **last a lifetime**, which is where the name comes from: **Buildings For Life**. New builds carry **a 10-year warranty**.

How It Works

## How we work on your job

Plain dealing from the first visit to the sign-off.

1. ### A written quote

What is included, what is not, and how any unknowns are handled, before anything starts.
2. ### Our own team

Groundworks, brickwork, structure, roofs and joinery done by the firm, not handed down a chain.
3. ### Signed off properly

Building control inspections at each stage, and a 10-year warranty on new builds.

Ready when you are.
